About the activities of the department

The department is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", the National Program for Personnel Training, decisions of the Chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan decisions and Orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Inspectorate and orders of the University rector, as well as the Regulations of the Section.

Information about the department's activities, issues and shortcomings is periodically presented to the university rector and the State Inspectorate.

The main tasks of the department:

• Analyze and expertise the educational trends and specialties of state education standards (SES), qualification requirements, curricula and science programs;

• Studying the quality of the educational process at the university, its availability of educational literature and teaching materials;

• study and analyze the relevance of university student knowledge to SES;

• Implementation of normative-legal acts aimed at improving the quality of education;

• monitoring the quality of staff training;

• Organization of internal certification of the university, identifying the factors that affect the quality of education according to the results, presenting the information to the University Rector and State Inspectorate;

• Establishment of control over the timely elimination of deficiencies and shortcomings identified during the attestation, examination of quality of education;

• monitoring the status of indicators that determine the quality of education and making recommendations to the relevant structural subdivisions on identified problems and shortcomings;

• To analyze the effectiveness of modern methods and techniques in the professional development of professors and teachers in order to improve the quality of education;

• Conduct internal monitoring to determine the level of professional qualifications of pedagogical staff in the university structure (faculty, department, center, academic lyceum), as well as to determine the quality level of post-graduate education and retraining to make suggestions to the management of the university on preparation of analytical information, defining deficiencies and problems;

• University professor-teachers have to analyze the baseline data for the relevant subject (subjects), or to study their relevant retraining or to have a degree in academic degree and academic status, and to present the findings to the University Rector;

• monitoring the implementation of the academic process, research and scientific-methodical work of the university;

• Analyze the material and technical basis of the educational process, make recommendations on its development and improvement;

• controlling the effectiveness and impact of student practice in the university in the direction of education trends and specializations;

• Participating in the process of collecting information on the assessment and evaluation of the university's qualifications, attestation and quality of education, as requested by the State Inspectorate;

• Assessing the objectivity, transparency and quality of points by analyzing students' knowledge assessment process;

• Conducting sociological surveys of students, parents, professors and trainers on a regular basis to study the social environment of the university, staff training and quality of education;

• Increasing the professional skills of the department staff, studying the experiences of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Istedod" Foundation or international projects and the experience of the prestigious educational and scientific centers of foreign countries, developed at the University, and their introduction in the educational process;

• To take an active part in the development and implementation of the University's guidelines for the promotion of the university rankings at the international level;

• Conducting training seminars and trainings to improve the quality of education jointly with the university structural subdivisions;

• Formation of a community of experts in the university and regularly hold seminars in the framework of the tasks assigned to them;

• monitoring the integration of educational process and production, innovative ideas, development and application of technology;

• Improving the quality of education by the department at the University Council, roundtable discussions and conferences;
