Master’s degree during the period of Independence
After being independent of our Republic and accepting “Law about Education”, ”The Program of National Curriculum” gave path of development to reforms and it brought us to basis changes in the field of Education.
Educational reforms about the quality and the principles of education entered to the International Standards and educational model developed as being one of the leading model in the world.
As other branches education system developed and became perfected continuously and brought up active, independently thinking youth, formed a new generation that serves for the country’s future.
Acceptance and use “The Program of National Curriculum” in the life created an absolutely new educational stage, master’s degree in the country that being a high stage it is considered as “the fruit of Sovereignty”.
In the first place master’s degree was formed in 1999 in our Republic among Central Independent States.
Master’s degree at Samarkand State University that is situated in ancient Samarkand city was established in 1999 and accepted 27 masters for 21 branches in that year. During 2001-2011 years 1923 masters for 68 branches graduated from the University and have been working at agriculture, industrial plants, educational establishments. Over 900 masters have been teaching at colleges, academic lyceums and other educational establishments. Over 200 masters entered to post graduate course and they fill the row professor-teachers who are working at Universities and Institutes, over 44 masters defended their academic theses successfully.
Education in Master’s passed through its organizational period and took step forward qualitative stage. Documents are being perfected and being renewed regularly.
Adequate experience in the field of education was gathered up in the country.
Over 61 professors and over 120 candidates from the University, docents and over 40 professor-teachers from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan branch Institutes and 15 experienced specialists were drawn for the educational process and for being a scientific instructor (supervisor) for master’s theses.
Particularly, on preparing qualitative specialists The National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Tashkent Information Technology University, World Economy and Diplomacy University, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, philosophy and Law, archaeology, history, astronomy, heat physics, nuclear physics, zoology, biology, general and inorganic chemistry, polymer physics, mathematics, Botany scientific Institute, Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Samarkand branch’s specialists and other professor-teachers are helping to increase effectiveness and prepare qualitative specialists.
Masters are participating in various competitions successfully.
Up to now 6 masters won state scholarship by president on physics-mathematics, chemistry-biology, social-humanitarian sciences, economics, information science, 4 masters won prize in “Kelajak ovozi”.
Pardaev Dilmurod and Hamraqulova Shohista second year masters were awarded with “Jasorat”, “Shuhrat” medals for being active and faithfulness in 2007.
Two masters Rustam Qobilov (2007) and Nozima Shamsieva (2011) were awarded with “Uzbekiston belgisi” for participating in conferences with their scientific research works and publishing articles in prestigious magazines.
Normatov Dilshod was awarded with the medal of “Uzbekiston xalq ta’limi a’lochisi” (Active of the Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
Our main goal is to prepare active and capable specialists who make contribution in the further development of the country.
