It is a great honor for us that the issues raised at the SCO summit in Samarkand have attracted the attention of the whole world to our country, that it has become the center of international politics and economics.

Within the framework of the summit, strong friendship and all-round partnership between our peoples were strengthened. It is for this purpose that the proposals of our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on long-term good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation, put forward at the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, are aimed.

The same fact that cultural and humanitarian ties form the basis of cooperation in this regard. Close partnerships between these regions, historically connected by the Great Silk Road, have deep roots.

This city of muezzin, located in the heart of the Great Silk Road, for many years served as a means of cultural ties, trade between peoples, and the exchange of scientific achievements. The holding of the Council of the Heads of State of the SCO Member States in Samarkand gave a special historicity to the current authority of the Organization. The fact that Samarkand acts as a bridge not only to economic and political stability, but also to cooperation in the field of trade and investment, causes a feeling of pride in each of our compatriots.
