Peace and progress

I carefully follow the trips of our President abroad. The fact that the leader of Uzbekistan strives for peace and development in the world is recognized by the international community, which gives pride to our entire nation. I believe that the official visit to Hungary will be mutually beneficial...
In today's rapidly developing era, a system of relations free of geopolitical conflicts is absolutely necessary. World experience shows that cooperation and friendly relations in all spheres serve as the basis of sustainable peace and development. Mutual friendship, interstate economic partnership, establishment of socio-humanitarian relations, intercivilizational dialogue are important conditions for common security and sustainable development.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Hungary is based on such important goals.
At the modern stage, the relations between our countries are developing consistently is worthy of special recognition.
Since 2016, an important period has begun in the relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary. In the same year, the Hungarian embassy was opened in Tashkent. I believe that the new relations that started from this period will rise another step today.
In today's age where peace is the main goal, friendly relations between countries, including the peoples of the East and the West, have become a necessity. It is known from the facts of history that the friendship between nations was created primarily through cultural relations, science, art and literature.
Political-economic cooperation has developed through the ways revealed by science. Therefore, it is a fact that science plays the role of the main criterion in the development of countries. Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary in the field of science, including education, corresponds to this reality.
In June 2021, the Uzbek-Hungarian rectors' forum was held. As part of the forum, a delegation of Hungarian rectors led by Dr. Orsholya Pachay-Tomasich, State Secretary for Diplomatic Academy and "Stipendium Hungaricum" program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, visited Samarkand.
It should be noted that as a result of the agreements reached during the Uzbek-Hungarian rectors' forum, Samarkand State University has established beneficial cooperation relations with about ten universities of Hungary, such as Debrecen, Eotvos Lorand, Dunaeyvarosh, Semmelweis and Niyeradhaza.
As part of this cooperation, a number of researchers from Samarkand State University were sent to study at these universities. At the moment, they are conducting research in their fields together with Hungarian scientists.
The main goal of these contacts is clear and urgent issues such as training of qualified personnel in a number of fields such as natural sciences, agriculture, food safety, information technology, and conducting research on joint elimination of problems common to both countries. kept in you.
Today, a number of significant works are being carried out on the exchange of students and conducting joint scientific research in connection with cooperation
It is worth noting that scientists and researchers of Samarkand State University are conducting scientific research in Hungarian universities, and scientists of the two countries are working on joint scientific projects.
Otabek Umarov, independent researcher of the Department of Optics of Samarkand State University, doctoral student of the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
- The official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Hungary is received with great enthusiasm in this country. In the West, there is great interest in Uzbekistan, especially New Uzbekistan. European countries, including Hungary, are not indifferent to the democratic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan. International experts regard Uzbekistan as the most stable and developing country in the Central Asian region. Uzbekistan's initiatives regarding human rights and freedom of the press are being warmly welcomed. The University of Debrecen, where I am conducting scientific research, is one of the oldest universities in Europe. The educational programs launched in cooperation between this educational center and Samarkand State University are expanding more and more. In the future, it is planned to open a branch of this university in Uzbekistan...
Cooperation relations have been established between Uzbekistan and Hungary in trade-economic, educational, investment, agricultural, financial and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It is noteworthy that, among the countries of the European Union, Hungary is currently one of the countries that is implementing comprehensive cooperation with Uzbekistan in various directions, especially in the field of education. Starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, the number of grants allocated for Uzbek students and researchers in Hungary has been increased, that is, the opportunities to study on the basis of grants at prestigious Hungarian higher education institutions have been created for about two hundred students every year.
It is worth noting that wide-scale cooperative relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary, including new forms of relations in the field of education, are being established. About ten Hungarian universities are included in the top 1000 universities of the world, and they provide education based on modern technologies. We hope that this cooperation will develop further in the near future.
Any path based on knowledge is smooth and leads to noble goals. The fact that the foundation of cooperation between our countries is built on the basis of relations in the field of science corresponds to this fact.
In short, Uzbekistan and Hungary are striving to further expand the scope of mutual cooperation. The integration of science and the existence of a common interest in its implementation in life are commendable among the cooperation relations between our countries in all fields.
I believe that after the official visit of our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Hungary, mutual cooperation and sincere friendship between the Uzbek and Hungarian peoples, which have deep historical roots, will rise to a new level.
