      On the first day of the rector's meeting with graduates, an open dialogue was held with graduates of the institutes of engineering physics, agrobiotechnology and food security, as well as the faculties of mathematics, intelligent systems and computer technology, geography and ecology, and the faculty of human resource management.

      At the meeting, the rector focused on the requirements of the modern system of higher education and issues of master's education. In particular, speaking about the nature of the changes in admission to the magistracy in the current academic year, he noted that knowledge of foreign languages is becoming an important factor in the conquest of the world by science:

    - Each of you completes a bachelor's degree in higher education. If the bachelor's degree is the first stage of higher education, then the master's degree is its continuation. Everyone knows about the latest changes in the procedure for admission to the magistracy. These innovations are based on the goal of training high-quality and qualified personnel. To do this, first of all, it is necessary to thoroughly master the sciences related to this area, and to know foreign languages. The greatest achievement you can make for your future is to learn foreign languages...

     On the second day of the meeting, the rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Khalmuradov met with students of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry, Law and Philology.

     The rector of the university, conducting an open dialogue with young people preparing to graduate from a bachelor's degree in higher education, mentioned the changes taking place in the process of admission to a master's program and the need to train high-quality and qualified personnel.

      He expressed the opinion that at present there is a need for mature potential personnel formed as a result of a serious selection among bachelor's graduates who have mastered specialty subjects based on a deep practical approach.

      During the meeting, students received answers to their questions.
