Mamadiyar Khaitov, candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor. He has been working as the head of the department since 2023. In 1993, he defended his thesis on the topic “Efficiency of phosphorus-containing fertilizers in the structure of vegetable-feed crop rotation in the conditions of the Zerafshan Valley.” In 1999 he received the title of associate professor.
More than 120 scientific papers have been published. Author of 3 textbooks, 3 teaching aids, 2 monographs, 1 letter of recommendation, 1 rationalization proposal and more than 15 teaching aids.

Normurodov Davlat Soibnazarovich
Davlat Normurodov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor. Since 2020 he has been working at Samarkand State University. In 2005, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “The influence of agrotechnical measures on the yield and quality of seeds of instant potato varieties grown on a virus-free basis,” and in 2017 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Agrobiological foundations of virus-free potato selection.” More than 200 scientific papers have been published. Author of 6 textbooks, 6 teaching aids, 2 monographs. |

Kholmirzaev Bakhrom Khudoiberdievich Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor. Since 2020 he has been working at Samarkand State University. In 1976, he defended his PhD thesis in agricultural sciences on the topic “Varieties and production technology of champignon for industrial greenhouse crops.” Author of 4 textbooks, 8 teaching aids, 3 monographs and about 200 scientific articles. |

Sadinov Safar Ibrahimovich Safar Sadinov – Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, senior lecturer. Since 2023, he has been working at the Department of Horticulture and Viticulture of the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security of Samarkand State University. In 1990, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Breeding single-seeded fodder beets in the conditions of the North-Western zone of the RSFSR.”

Sulaimanov Oybek Madikhonovich Oybek Sulaymanov – senior lecturer, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of agricultural sciences. Since 2020 he has been working at the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Safety of Samarkand State University. He defended his dissertation on the topic “The influence of pesticides and biologically active substances on the development of winter wheat, yield and grain quality.” During his career, he published about 30 scientific and methodological works, including 5 international scientific articles, 2 recommendations and 3 methodological manuals. 1 copyright certificate (patent) for a selection achievement - the author of the variety. |
