Ibodulla Mirzaev – Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at Samarkand State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor. During the scientist’s career, 14 monographs, 5 textbooks, 12 teaching aids, more than 10 programs and teaching aids, more than 600 scientific articles were published, including scientific articles in Scopus, Web of Science and other prestigious international databases. Author of such textbooks as “Uzbek Language”, “French Grammar (morphology)”, “Analytical Reading”. He published the monograph “Study of the life and work of Alisher Navoi in Russia” and the text of lectures “Modern trends in linguistics.” Ibodulla Mirzaev translated more than 40 articles by famous Russian and foreign writers and linguists into French.
      In 1997-2018, through the efforts of the scientist and executive editor, 13 volumes of the collection of scientific articles “Philology” were published. Currently, under the leadership of Ibodulla Mirzaev, the international electronic journals “Language.Education.Translation” and “Alisher Navoi” operate. Both journals are recognized by the Higher Attestation Commission.
Professor Ibodulla Mirzaev was the first in Central Asia to establish the scientific direction “Linguopoetics” and the innovative teaching method “Analytical Reading”.
