Samarkand State University hosted very interesting events as part of the week of mathematics, organized by partners from the North Caucasus Federal University. The events began with the holding of Mathematical Battles, in which students of Samara State University took part. Sharof Rashidov and a number of universities in Samarkand.

In the first round, 32 students were divided into eight teams that worked together to solve mathematical problems. The second stage is held in the form of an Olympiad. At the end of the rounds, the winners were identified and presented with gifts on behalf of the organizers.

Mukhtor Nasirov, head of the international cooperation department:

     - All participants showed great interest in the event and participated with great emotion. The diplomas of the winners of intellectual competitions will be a good help for those wishing to continue their education at the next levels, in particular in the master's programs of the North Caucasus Federal University. Events in this format were held for the first time. All participants liked the form of the organization and, of course, the content of the competition itself. We hope that such events will successfully contribute to the development of scientific and educational interaction, intercultural dialogue, and youth communities of our universities. It should be noted that Mathematics Week, held within the framework of the programs of the Collective Center for Russian Education, created on the basis of Samara State University, traditionally promotes the development of youth cooperation, the establishment of direct connections between universities, and supports cultural and educational youth projects.
