Based on a memorandum of cooperation signed between Samarkand State University and the Japanese University of Tottori, SamSU scientists received a short-term grant under the Japanese “Sakura Science Exchange” program.
Based on this grant, ten students and researchers, led by the director of the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of Samara State University, Associate Professor Toshpulot Radjabov, will be at Tottori University in Japan from December 10 to 19, 2023.
The purpose of the trip is to familiarize students with modern methods of agricultural management in arid regions, to discuss issues of cooperation in personnel training and further strengthening of research work.
