A group of students and researchers from the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security of Samara State University are at Tottori University as part of the Sakura exchange program. The students visited the International Center for Arid Regions Research at the University of Tottori and became familiar with the agricultural activities of this center. In particular, in the experimental fields and in the research greenhouse of the center, the characteristics of salt tolerance of agricultural crops and the technology of growing fruit trees (apricots, almonds, plums, pistachios, pomegranates) on sandy soils are reliable.
During the week, our students will get acquainted with the educational and research activities of Tottori University, as well as explore the possibilities of studying at this university in the areas of master's and doctoral studies.
