The monograph describes the principles of the formation of lyrical genres in Tajik educational literature, the development of artistic thinking during this period, the renewal of poetic works, as well as the historical, political and social foundations of this phenomenon. The variety of genres of poetry of the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries, the evolution of traditional lyrical types, such as ghazal, masnavi, tarjiyat, musammat, qasida, “new poem”, “national poem”. In the literature of this period, traditionalism and innovation, the functional characteristics of artistic arts in the poetry of the Enlightenment and modernity, the typological features of the poetry of the Tajik Enlightenment and the Iranian Mashrut period were comparatively studied and analyzed. Also in the monograph, in separate sections, the linguopetic and linguostylistic features of the poetry of this period are described.
      The monograph is intended for philological researchers, bachelors, masters, doctoral students and specialists interested in the theory and history of literature.
