Within the framework of the Chinese-Uzbek educational forum, the rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Halmuradov signed memorandums of cooperation with Shenyang Agricultural University, Jilin International Education University, Northwestern Polytechnic University, Heilongjiang University, and China Communication University.

      These agreements include such issues as the development of joint educational programs, the establishment of faculty, scientific and student exchange, the study of academic cooperation, and the conduct of scientific research. It also provides for the joint publication of books, the provision of scholarship programs for teaching students, the organization of international conferences and joint laboratories, and short-term internships.
