A competition for best practices in International Solidarity Education / Global Civic Education has been announced by the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Center for International Solidarity Education (APSEU, Seoul, Republic of Korea).

The purpose of the competition is to identify successful local initiatives in International Solidarity Education or Global Civic Education and to disseminate best practices internationally.

This competition is open to projects with the following areas:

- capacity building of teachers;

- school programs;

- programs implemented in the society;

- youth initiatives and other educational activities and programs

The winner, selected by APSEU experts, will be awarded a Global Citizen Award and a $ 1,000 cash prize. The winning projects will also be published as a monograph and distributed to UNESCO member states and posted on the APSEU website.

Applications for participation in the competition (relevant information is attached) are filled in English and submitted to the e-mail of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry ( xab@edu.uz ) through the Department of International Cooperation of SamSU until May 25 this year.
