    The Department of International Cooperation is considered a component department of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, operates in accordance with the current charter of the university and reports directly to the rector of the university.
      The department carries out its activities on the basis of orders and instructions of the rector of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, the current management of the university for office work.
    In the International Cooperation Department, employees occupy the following positions:

     1. Department of International Cooperation
     The objectives of the International Cooperation Department are:
     Carries out certain work to implement the tasks set in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017 PP-2909 “On measures for the further development of the higher education system”, improving the qualifications of teaching staff, studying and introducing advanced foreign experience into the educational process.
     Ensures the execution of documents adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Investment, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for International Relations and International Economic Relations.

  • establishing direct partnerships with relevant educational institutions of foreign countries by decision of the university council, concluding with them contracts, agreements and protocols on cooperation, bilateral agreements on the issuance of diplomas, organizing the opening of joint faculties and branches in the manner prescribed by law;
  • participation in the bilateral exchange program for students, researchers, teachers and researchers;
  • conducting research jointly with embassies and international educational organizations and foundations operating in Uzbekistan, as well as assistance in holding international conferences, symposiums, congresses and other events;
  • conducting fundamental and scientific-applied research, as well as development work on orders from foreign legal entities;
  • participation in international programs to improve higher and post-higher professional education.
  • study and approval of documents of university representatives sent on foreign trips, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 81 dated April 13, 2005 “On trips from higher educational institutions”;
  • monitoring university projects within the framework of technical assistance programs to donor countries and international financial organizations and providing quarterly reports to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education;
  • organizing seminars, attention for university teachers, staff and students based on analysis projects;
  • studying, analyzing and making recommendations on agreements, contracts and protocols that the University establishes with foreign leaders;
  • Coordinating documents with support organizations, if necessary;
  • holding seminars and conferences on priority areas of education in countries with embassies and international educational institutions and foundations operating in Uzbekistan;
  • preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports on foreign currency receipts for the training of foreign citizens in accordance with the requests of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education;
  • recommendation of teachers, students, undergraduates and university interns for internships, advanced training courses, courses announced by foreign partners, for master's and doctoral studies;
  • dissemination of information about international grants announced and helping in the development of university departments, as well as direct participation in the implementation of the project;
  • collecting and providing information about international events, conferences, seminars. Providing information at university conferences, assisting in the dissemination of this information and updating the university website.
