According to the letter of the National Commission for UNESCO in the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 065-21 on March 10, 2015, a competition was announced for the prize of $ 50,000 for women working in women's education, established by UNESCO in 2015 and funded by the Chinese government.

Projects of candidates for participation in the competition must comply with one or more of the following areas of Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5 and be implemented for at least two years, clearly proving their effectiveness and sustainability:

1 Participation: supporting the participation of all girls in the general education process;

2. Literacy: Actively participate in the literacy process for all girls and women;

3. Creating an environment: creating and maintaining an environment for gender equality;

4. Skills of teachers: orientation of teachers to teaching based on gender equality;

5 Skills development: supporting young girls and women to improve their knowledge and skills for life and work.

Projects should also cover best practices in women's education.

Applicants wishing to take part in this competition must fill out a questionnaire in English or French and submit it to the Department of International Cooperation of SamSU by April 14, 2021.
