Research Direction:
History of Sogdian writing, grammar and issues of early medieval statehood.
The main results of scientific research:
Based on the role of the early medieval Sogdian state union in the history of Uzbek statehood and the fact that it was governed on a confederal basis, he conducted an archaeogrammatological analysis of the forms of Sogdian writing and, as a consequence, of each letter. He proved that dozens of words in the vocabulary of Uzbek and Tajik languages have Sughdian roots. He proved that the development of culture and science created in Sogd during the early medieval period of Uzbekistan was the basis of the first Renaissance in Central Asia.
