Documents Required:

  • Recommendation Letter from the Faculty Administration: Officially issued by the educational institution where the applicant is currently studying.

  • Enrollment Certificate: Officially issued by the educational institution where the applicant is currently studying.

  • Official Transcript: The most recent transcript that certifies all academic records of the applicant. Must be issued by the educational institution where the applicant is currently studying.

  • English Language Proficiency Certificate: Applicants whose native language is not English and who wish to attend undergraduate courses taught in English must provide English language proficiency test scores. Required scores are TOEFL-iBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, or an equivalent level.

  • Japanese Language Proficiency Certificate (if applicable): Applicants wishing to attend undergraduate courses taught in Japanese must provide a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificate of N2 level or higher.

  • Photo: Taken within three months of the submission date.

  • Passport Copy: A copy of the passport photo page.

  • Physical Examination Certificate: To be completed by a doctor.

  • Medical Form: To be completed by the applicant.

  • Statement of Financial Ability: To be completed by a person who will support the applicant's living expenses in Japan. This may be waived for scholarship recipients.

  • Financial Support Documents: Proof of financial ability to cover living expenses (e.g., bank statement). The bank statement or similar document must show at least $2,000 (300,000 JPY) for one semester or $4,000 (600,000 JPY) for two semesters.
