As part of the youth festival throughout Uzbekistan, the New Breath running competitions were held simultaneously in the cities of Chirchik, Gulistan, Ferghana, Namangan, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, and Tashkent.
Students of Samarkand State University took an active part in the marathon, which was held under the motto "In the same Motherland, at the same time, at the same distance, with the same goal - we run together." In the competition, in which about a thousand athletes took part, students of the Faculty of Sports Activities and Arts of SamSU Odil Maksudov among boys and Marzhona Rakhimova among girls took an honorable 2nd place.
