   The scientific laboratory “Modern methods of analysis” was created in 2021 on the initiative of the rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Khalmuradov. This laboratory is used by professors and teachers, doctoral students, scientific researchers, interns, undergraduates and gifted students of the Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics and Faculty of Biology of Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidov to analyze their research. Based on the results of the analysis carried out in the laboratory, articles and abstracts are regularly published in various international and national scientific journals.

      Today, the scientific team of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Science conducts effective research in the laboratory in such areas as the synthesis and study of coordination compounds, the synthesis of materials for renewable energy sources, and the development of optical and electrochemical sensors for various gases.

      In addition, this laboratory carries out analyzes on the basis of contracts with manufacturing enterprises, farms, and research centers.
