1982-1992 –Pupil of the 24 th school named after Abdullah Shair of the Kitab district
1992-1997 - student of Samarkand State University
1997-1998 - Senior Laboratory Assistant, Department of Uzbek Linguistics, Samarkand State university
1998-1999 - intern of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of Samarkand State university
1999-2002 - graduate student of Samarkand State University
2002-2020 - Lecturer, Department of Uzbek Linguistics, Samarkand State University

Department of Uzbek linguistics
The Department of Uzbek linguistics can be considered the same age as the university. Leading scientists as Abdurauf Fitrat, Yevgeny Polivanov, Gazi Alim Yunusov, Ulug Tursunov, Abdurakhman Sulaymonov, Khamdam Berdiyorov, Rakhmatulla Kungurov, Khudoyberdi Daniyorov, Abdujabbor Mukhtorov, Vahob Egamov, Bozorboy Urinbayev, Bekmurod Yuldashev, Juraboy Khamdamov worked in this Department.
By now the members of the department prepared more than 100 publications. There are a lot of significant monographs, textbooks intended to using in educational process, educational and methodological aids among them. Over the years of its existence, the department has prepared about 200 candidates and doctors of science.
Currently, 4 doctors of science, professors (S. Karimov, U. Sanakulov, J. Eltazarov, A.Pardayev), 5 candidates of science, docents (D. Urinbayeva, R. Suvonova, A. Gaffarov, Sh, Makhmadiyev, O. Yusupova) and 6 teachers (Sh. Normuminov, S. Umirova, D. Islomova, B. Kholmuhamedov, F. Nurmonov, M. Bobotoyev) are working at the Department of Uzbek linguistics. They conduct research work on the main perspective plan of the topic “Functional-pragmatic and cognitive-stylilistic tasks of the lexical and grammatical resources of Uzbek language (in synchronous and diachronic aspects)”.
Highly professional, creative and friendly staff of the department, formed by Ulug Tursunov, continues the traditions of the Samarkand linguistic school in forming comprehensively educated specialists. The members of the Department take part in republican, regional and ‘nternat’onal scientific conferences and also successfully cope with social tasks.
