A student of the Faculty of International Educational Programs of Samarkand State University Maftuna Bazarkulova is studying at the Sunchunhyang University of South Korea. The student received an educational grant from the Republic of Korea 2 years ago and went to Sunchunhyang University to continue her studies at the Faculty of Korean Philology. We were interested in today's scientific activity of Maftuna and his features in the Korean education system.

“In 2021, I won an educational grant allocated by the Republic of Korea and chose the Department of Korean Philology at Sunchunhyang University,” says Maftuna Bozkulova. - Korean students are very purposeful and hardworking. The university form of education is also fundamentally different from ours. Admission to study on a grant here does not mean that the student will study on a grant for 4 years. That is, the student will continue studying in the grant in the next semester only if the average value of the marks received in each semester is higher. If he has mastered subjects with a low grade, then he studies on a contract basis. In the same way, a student who entered on a paid contract basis can apply for a grant, due to good mastery of subjects. A student studying at a university on a grant basis is awarded a monthly scholarship in the amount of 300,000 to 500,000 won. Free hostel is provided. Another feature is that the subjects taught in Korean universities throughout the year are chosen by the student himself. At the beginning of the school year, students enter each teacher's classroom and choose subjects that they are interested in and like. The couple session lasts 50 minutes. There is absolutely no such thing as a note missing during a lesson. The student places the assignment given by the teacher in his personal account via the Internet, the teachers check and evaluate it. Also, students who have an international certificate of the Korean language (TOPIC) can participate in various grants, be assigned to additional scholarships. Most importantly, special opportunities have also been created for students to work. In Korea, students can also set class times according to their daily plans.
