Zilola Amriddinova, Masters program student of the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University, is conducting a scientific study on the topic: “Comparative and typological analysis of the 8th grade literature textbook”. She published a number of articles on this topic on international and local levels. This year she participated in the articles competition: “The best innovator – in the  year 2022", organized within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, with the article "Comparative and typological analysis of the writer's biography in literature textbooks created in the years after independence", and was awarded a commemorative badge. Her supervisor is the Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature Badiya Mukhiddinova.

    - Literature as a science occupies an important place from the very beginning of the formation of mankind and covers a long historical period, - tells Zilola Amirdinova. - Any people striving for high progress in the world, first of all, devote attention to their literature, because the role of this subject in educating the younger generation, calling people to spirituality is incredibly great. The fact that the President of our country considers the sphere of education as the most important issue has further enhanced the role of literature and its relevance. During the study, it was found that when studying the 8th grade literature textbook published in 1997, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2019 - in my edition, I tried to conduct a comparative analysis of theoretical data,  mainly by how the co-authors changed, how annotations were selected, how the activities of the creators were described and in what order the literary works were given. Due to the fact that the information in this textbook is presented in full, it can also form a broader understanding, understanding and knowledge in the student, that is, in the course of the lesson it will be possible to fully achieve the intended goal.

    The analysis carried out by the researcher in the course of scientific work on studying previous textbooks and comparing them with the current ones, identifying achievements and shortcomings, will undoubtedly serve as a strong foundation for newly created textbooks.
