New research to develop a sensor that detects carbon dioxide

At present, with the rapid development of motor transport and industry, the need to determine greenhouse gases in the atmospheric air is increasing. Therefore, it is important to develop selective methods and sensitive chemical sensors for the detection of greenhouse gases. CO2 is one of the harmful and dangerous components of atmospheric air. According to statistics, in the last decade, deaths from exposure to carbon (II) oxides accounted for 23.4% of deaths from acute exposure. Therefore, it is important to create a new generation of gas-sensitive semiconductor materials and to create selective semiconductor gas sensors based on them for determining the amount of carbon monoxide (II) in atmospheric air, process and exhaust gases.
Shakhnoza Pardaeva, Master of the Faculty of Chemistry of Samarkand State University, conducts scientific research on the topic: "The choice of the composition of the gas-sensitive film for a gas-sensitive sensor."
According to researcher Shakhnoza Pardayeva, large-scale research is underway in the world to create highly efficient gas-inert materials for semiconductor sensors of harmful and dangerous gases. - The characteristics of semiconductor sensors depend on various factors, including the composition of gas-insensitive materials, which play an important role in ensuring high sensitivity and selectivity in determining the composition of gas mixtures. In this regard, it is important to choose the optimal composition and proportions of gas-sensitive material components of a semiconductor sensor.
In our republic, special attention is devoted to monitoring the composition of environmental objects, certain results are being achieved in the creation of methods and means of monitoring the composition of atmospheric air. In this regard, the development of selective gas-sensitive materials and the creation of import-substituting sensors on their structure, the development of high-performance, modern high-speed gas analyzers and analysis methods are of great importance.
This scientific research focuses on issues such as methods and technologies for creating a gas sensitive sensor, the process of preparing gas sensitive materials, and based on the gas sensitive material developed with it, it is possible to develop sensors that can selectively detect gas at an allowed standard level.
