Indian-Uzbek center for artificial intelligence and machine learning opened at SamSU
The opening ceremony of the Indian-Uzbek Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was held at Samarkand State University in cooperation with the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Galgotias University. It was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Samarkand State University Hakim Khushvaktov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Akmal Akhatov, the team of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and the faculty of Indian University Galgotias online via the zoom platform.
The main task of the center is to train specialists who study on the basis of modern technologies, launch exchange programs, organize symposiums and conferences, conduct scientific work in the field of artificial intelligence, blockchain, bioinformatics, business analytics, as well as facilitate the publication of scientific articles by researchers in prestigious journals.
- The opening of the Indian-Uzbek center for artificial intelligence and machine learning will contribute to the further development of international relations and the scientific prestige of Samarkand State University, - said Hakim Khushvaktov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of SamSU. – The creation of such centers plays a big role in determining the ranking of the university in the international community and how effective our research is. “Since 2018, we have established partnerships with Samarkand State University,” says Professor Munish Sabharwal, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Engineering at Galgotias University. – Classes in the center are conducted in English. Students studying at this center can continue their studies at Galgotias University during the semester. In addition, we are appointing a research supervisor from Galgotias University to conduct research in the field of artificial intelligence, blockchain, bioinformatics, business analytics and are ready for further cooperation in this direction…
