Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov today established official partnerships with a number of higher educational institutions and organizations of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

    To date, SamSU has reached agreements, signed memorandums and agreements with 7 higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China, 40 higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, 7 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, 3 higher educational institutions of Tajikistan, 1 higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan.

    In the 2021-2022 academic year, 67 foreign scientists, professors and teachers were involved in the educational process. About 40 specialists consist of scientists and specialists from higher educational institutions of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, who taught students of our university remotely and directly.

    In addition, Chinese and Russian educational and cultural centers operate at the university. These centers are provided with the necessary literature and modern equipment from the universities of the partner countries.

    Since the basis of any cooperation is formed, first of all, by cultural and humanitarian ties, there is no doubt that such friendly ties connected on the path to enlightenment are a stable condition for the development of modern science.
