October 18 - On the occasion of "Samarkand City Day", the mausoleum of Amir Temur was visited early in the morning with the participation of heads of regional and city administrations, law enforcement agencies, state and public organizations. A ceremony of placing flowers at the base of the statue of Master Amir Temur was also held.

    "Samarkand City Day" holiday was widely celebrated by students of Samarkand State University on University Avenue. Each faculty gave a special charm to the holiday with their performances, artistic performances, exhibitions, and songs.
