The governor of Pastdarg‘om district, Sherzod Rakhmonov, held a meeting with students from Pastdarg‘om who are studying at Samarkand State University.

    The main purpose of the meeting was to get to know the students closely, learn about their opinions and suggestions, and provide recommendations and practical assistance in ensuring employment for graduates.

    The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University, Ahmadjon Soliev, Deputy Governor of Pastdarg‘om District, Dilmurod Mamatqulov, Head of Preschool and School Education, Muzaffara Abdieva, and Head of the Department for Poverty Reduction and Employment, Toxir Qosimov.

    Issues related to the employment of graduates were discussed. The governor held an open conversation with the students to learn about their interests in various professions and fields. He emphasized that a special commission, consisting of representatives from the government, banks, and business leaders, has been established to ensure graduate employment.

    During the meeting, students asked questions about professional internships, benefits provided for starting a business in the district, and support programs for young entrepreneurs. Officials provided detailed answers and assured that there are opportunities available to ensure suitable employment.

    At the end of the event, the suggestions put forward by the students were taken into account, and directions for their future implementation were determined. The governor emphasized the importance of regularly holding such open dialogues with young people and considering each of their opinions.

    For reference, nearly 650 students from Pastdarg‘om are currently studying in full-time and part-time programs at Samarkand State University.
