Ulug'bek Norqulov, a student of the Faculty of Geography and Ecology at Samarkand State University, won 1st place in the subject "Ecology and Environmental Protection" at the competition organized by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Additionally, he was awarded a scholarship to study for a master's degree at the same university.

SamDU students Samoyiddin Salohiddinov, Sevara Hamroyeva, Kamoliddin Murodullayev, Nirzod Farmonov, Laylo Xushmurodova, Mohiniso Toshmurodova, and Marjona Habibullayeva achieved high scores and were recommended for the master's program on a contract basis.
