The Rector of Al-Qasimia University in the United Arab Emirates, Professor Awad Alhalaf, visited Samarkand State University.

The distinguished guest met with the Rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rustam Kholmurodov.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed. An agreement was reached to conduct research in the fields of historiography, source studies, and artificial intelligence.

For reference, Al-Qasimia University is ranked between 781-790 in the world rankings.
