    Rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Kholmurodov, "Rector and students meeting" was held. At the meeting, the rector met with the students of the faculties of biology, chemistry, history, philology, psychology and socio-political sciences and had an open conversation.

    - Life is a struggle. Only those who have strong knowledge and potential will win in this struggle, - says the Rector of Samarkand State University, Rustam Kholmurodov, a scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, - The light of science and enlightenment will illuminate your future. So, study for the bright future ahead of you, not for the grades or the diploma. In today's time, the issue of living well is, first of all, related to materiality. This is the truth. The richer the intellectual potential of the society, the richer it will be economically. The university is just a guide for you, young people. You will find your place in life thanks to your knowledge and hard work. The quality of your future life will be higher with your knowledge.

- Three months have passed since the beginning of our studies. During this time, I got to know the life of the university to a certain extent, - says Hilola Khaidarova, a student of the Faculty of Philology. - At the meeting between the rector and the youth, I got enough knowledge about the opportunities at the university, especially the importance of learning a foreign language today. To be more specific, I got a lot of emotional support from the event. When the teacher gave examples of life experience, I made my plans in front of my eyes. Once again, I am sure that I made the right decision by choosing Samarkand State University.

    - The meeting between the rector and the students was held in high spirits. I did not expect this event, - says Aziza Saidahmadova, a student of the Faculty of History of SamSU. - I have no idea about it because I haven't passed the final exams yet. Everyone interprets exams differently. Questions related to this were clarified at the meeting. At today's event, I got full information about educational processes. I am sure that the exams will be fair and transparent. It is also commendable that the rector listened to the problems and shortcomings of the students, gave the necessary tasks to the officials and showed the right direction to the youth...

    During the meeting, students received answers to their questions about the university's internal procedures, educational processes and the final control system.
