The competition "Student Creativity" was held to test the knowledge of students of the 4th grade of the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University on independent educational tasks on the subject "Syntax of colloquial speech".

      It was assessed taking into account a number of criteria, such as the scientific and creative approach of students to consolidating their knowledge of science, their full mastery of topics reserved for self-study.

      - The theoretical knowledge gained in each subject is reinforced by completing assignments related to the topic during self-study in addition to practical classes, - says Dilbar Urinboeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics at Samarkand State University, - on the subject "Syntax of colloquial speech" for deep mastery the student will have to consolidate each section of the subject through independent study. Since colloquial speech is the speech of everyday life, it uses all the possibilities of our language, the most subtle aspects and unique comparisons. At the beginning of the academic year, we announced the Student Creativity competition on the topics of independent education. According to the regulations, students presented their work prepared on the basis of independent research in such areas as infographics, video, audio recordings, Ispring tests. In each creative work, students tried to independently study the colloquial speech that is used in everyday life, to analyze the units used.

      These independent educational defenses were organized somewhat differently than usual, and at the end, memorable gifts and awards were presented to a group of students who most actively participated and were able to give an in-depth analysis of their observations.
