The Samarkand Regional Information and Library Center named after Pushkin hosted a presentation of the book by the famous writer and critic, member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Khasanov "Night at dawn".

Ilkhom Khasanov, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor. In 1980-91 he worked at the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University. During these years, such stories as "Journey", "Father", "Goldfish", "Suspension Bridge", "Latofat", "Ishgabat tragedy" were published. Later, the writer worked effectively in the field of dramaturgy and created the play "Bir kam dunyo". After the performance was successfully staged at the Samarkand Regional Drama Theatre, it won the hearts of many viewers.

The collection "Night at Dawn" includes stories written by a writer who felt the heaviness of the world of literature and the heaviness of speaking in this space.

      - Our people have an ancient wisdom that says: "A kind word will not harm." Ilkhom Khasanov's collection "Night at Dawn" conveys the most beautiful, purest emotions to the human heart, - says Muyassar Mustafoyeva, a student of the philological faculty of SamSU. As soon as you read some of them, landscape images of the great writer of Uzbek literature Utkir Khashimov will appear before your eyes. From this it can be understood that the writer Ilkhom Hasan was one of the sharpest writers of our Uzbek literature.
