Samarkand State University held a round table on “Topical issues of environmental protection”.

 T. Gashimov, head of the regional department of ecology, environmental protection and climate change, B. Abdullaev, chairman of the Samarkand regional party organization of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, and Subkhon Abbosov, dean of the Faculty of Geography and Ecology at Samarkand State University, took part in the conference. 

 The lecturers spoke about the purpose of the event, current tasks of environmental protection, the work carried out within the framework of the nationwide project “Green Space”, and the systems of formation of environmental culture.

 At the end of the event, the participants were awarded souvenirs from the Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change and the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.
