A delegation led by Amir Hossein Mirabadi, Chairman of the Center for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation of Iran, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, visited Samarkand State University.

 Rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, deputy of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Rustam Khalmuradov met with the honored persons.

 During the dialog they discussed issues of cooperation between the parties. In particular, an agreement was reached to open a joint technopark center with Iran's Sharaf Technological University.

 A memorandum of cooperation was signed as a result of the meeting....

 After the meeting, the delegation members familiarized themselves with the activities of the Institute of Biochemistry and Engineering Physics of SamSU.
