A three-party international seminar has commenced at Samarkand State University with the participation of scientists and specialists from Germany and Japan. The conference will discuss a number of pressing issues such as food security, climate change, water resource utilization, safe storage of agricultural products, and the application of scientific innovations and new technologies in this regard.

On the first day of the conference, presentations on the topic were heard from Professor Eriko Yasunaga of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Professors Shingo Ozaki and Ken Nakamo from Yokohama National University, Professors Valentin Popov, Markus Hess, and Xiang Li from the Technical University of Berlin, and Professors Khurshid Olimov, Bahrom Kholmurzaev, Shohnazar Hazratkulov, Rustam Rahimov, and others from Samarkand State University. Scientifically based recommendations and proposals were discussed.
