The economic efficiency of using irrigated lands in autumn-winter-early spring in winter farming, determined by the soil and climatic conditions of the Zarafshan oasis and the supply of field crops, has been studied. Recommendations have been developed to ensure food security in the region throughout the year, to grow and export a variety of products for every family and market. During the period of the former Union of Obikor Agriculture, thanks to the administrative command system, the artificial displacement of traditional crops from the agricultural system was prevented and a system of several harvests per year was established.
