1. In the candidate's thesis of Professor I.K. Mirzaev justified that the names of specific French words should be translated, and not the things-events themselves, and their classification was developed.
2. Doctoral dissertation of Professor I.K. Mirzaeva became the first in Central Asia to analyze the linguapoetics of a poetic text. It is based on the fact that the analysis of a literary text should be carried out on the basis of the achievements of literary criticism, linguistics and poetry, and thus a completely new theory and scientific direction was founded. Dozens of dissertations have been defended on this theory.
3. Professor I.K. Mirzaev proved in practice that the combination of teaching linguistics, literary criticism and poetry is the main factor in the preparation of a real philologist. Based on the innovative methodology of “Analytical Reading”, which he founded, classes are now being held for 1st-2nd year students of SamSU, the Kattakurgan branch of SamSU, Terrestrial State University, and the Institute of Pedagogical Education. The results obtained are very high: the students’ behavior, literary pronunciation, analytical abilities are formed, the level of language proficiency is 100%.
4. The necessary monographs, articles and educational literature for linguapoetic analysis of the text were prepared, the works of famous foreign scientists were translated, and thus a school of scientific translation was formed at SamSU. A significant role in this is played by the Laboratory of Scientific Translation, founded by Professor I.K. Mirzaev.
5. Professor I.K. Mirzaev gave lectures on the results obtained at international scientific conferences held in the CIS countries, Iran, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and other countries. He organized three international and two republican conferences at SamSU and published their materials.
6. Under the scientific guidance of Professor I.K. Mirzaev defended 3 Doctors of Science (DSc), 15 Candidates of Science and Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), more than 60 Ph.D. theses.
7. One master’s student (Azamatova G.) received a Presidential scholarship under the guidance of Professor Mirzaev. It is also noteworthy that I. Mirzaev works effectively as a member of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
8. Since the fall of 2022, Professor I.K. Mirzaev gives charity lectures at SamSU, Tashkent State University of Internal Medicine, KarSU, SamGIIYA, Kattakurgan branch of SamSU, TerSU, TerSPI, DTPI. Fluent in French, Russian, English, Persian-Tajik.
