From the history of the Department of Polymer Chemistry and Chemical Technology

The Department of Chemistry of Polymers and Chemical Technology was established in 2020. Currently, the department has 14 professors. Among them there are 2 academicians, 4 professors, 4 candidates of chemical sciences, associate professors, 1 assistant (PhD) and 3 assistant lecturers. For the last short period professors and teachers of the department have achieved significant results in educational and scientific spheres. In particular, more than 10 scientific articles were accepted by Ph.D., Professor N.I. Faizullaev, Head of the Department of Polymers and Chemical Technology in journals listed in Scopus with a high impact factor, in cooperation with Masters, researchers and doctoral students in accordance with the tradition of mentorship.

In addition, in co-authorship with Professor N. Faizullaev and others, a number of textbooks, teaching aids, and monographs were published. Under the leadership of Professor N. Faizullaev, 6 researchers successfully defended their doctoral dissertations (PhD). Many plans are planned to be implemented by the end of this year. In addition, 3 more professors-teachers of the Department are planning to defend dissertations to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the technical sciences. This will increase the scientific potential of the department by 78%.

In the future, the department aims to achieve high results in education and science. For this purpose, the scientific potential of the department is sufficient. Also, based on the main theme of scientific research of the department, agreements with relevant foreign higher education institutions were concluded. Professors from a number of international universities provide students with quality education. The department has concluded contracts with chemical production enterprises for the employment of students.
