Samarkand State University, 140104 Samarkand, University Boulevard, 15. Tel.: (99866) 239-12-29, E-mail: diron51@mail.ru

Description of the development and technical advantages: A new composition and manufacturing technology for the water-sensitive paste “Marokand” is proposed, with the help of which you can quickly determine the phase boundary and the level of produced water in a container with petroleum products, both for their light and heavy fractions. The paste allows you to determine the interface between oil products and water in 10-15 seconds. Water-sensitive paste is applied in a thin layer to any measuring instrument (tape measure, sampler, ruler, meter rod) and lowered for 10-15 seconds into a container with petroleum products, where the presence of water is expected. If there is water in the container, then the paste changes its color exactly according to the water level: in fresh water to crimson, in salty (sea and oceanic) to gray. The paste consumption per measurement is approximately 0.3-0.4 g. A comparative analysis with various water-sensitive compositions allows us to conclude that the proposed water-sensitive paste “Marokand” allows it to compete with well-known Russian analogues, while the newly introduced components are non-deficient substances and will not significantly affect the cost of water-sensitive paste.

Legal protection information: Patent No. IAP 20120474

Potential consumers: Used for quality control of petroleum products at oil refining and motor transport enterprises.

Samarkand State University, 140104 Samarkand, University Boulevard, 15. Tel.: (99866) 239-12-29, E-mail: diron51@mail.ru

Description of development and technical advantages: A technology is proposed for producing a sorption “smart” material with magnetic properties that vary depending on the magnetic field strength. This effect is achieved by joint immobilization of the cell walls of yeast or other cellulose-containing material and nanoparticles of a substance with magnetic properties by incorporating them into a calcium alginate gel. Subject to optimal conditions for the synthesis of magnetite, which is carried out according to the reaction 2FeCl3 + FeSO4 + 8NH4OH = Fe3O4↓+ 6NH4Cl + (NH4)2 SO4 + 4H2O, it is possible to obtain nanoparticles with a size of ~ 10 nm. The use of such a sorbent in industrial practice is becoming more technologically advanced, as it allows the sorption of heavy metal ions, radionuclides, organic and other pollutants from the “tails” of technological and waste solutions of industrial enterprises. both in dynamic and static modes (for example, in a large tank), simplifies the procedure for regeneration and removal from the reactor after its depletion.

Samarkand State University, 140104 Samarkand, University Boulevard, 15. Tel.: (99866) 239-12-29, E-mail: patent@samdu.uz

Description of development and technical advantages: A visual express method for determining gossypol in cottonseed oil in an amount of more than 0.01% has been developed. For the qualitative determination of free gossypol, an equal volume of a new dye in a colorless form is added to the analyzed sample of cottonseed oil, followed by an indicator solution. Depending on the concentration of gossypol, the color of the indicator changes. The device allows you to determine the presence of gossypol in the composition of cottonseed oil in an amount of 0.005% or higher. The quantitative method involves preparing reference samples with different concentrations of gossypol in them, placing the analyzed sample in a cuvette placed between the radiation source and the photodetector, comparing their colors with the colored layer of the analyzed sample, and determining the concentration of gossypol.

Legal protection information: Patent No. IAP04694
