We are pleased to announce that the competition for the first UNESCO/Al Fozan Prize of Saudi Arabia and UNESCO has been announced to support young scientists and scholars working in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

    This international award is announced every two years and presented to 5 scientists and scholars selected from five regions. The prize amount is 50,000 USD.

    Candidates recommended for this award are selected by the Director General of UNESCO based on the recommendation of an international panel. More information on the UNESCO/Al Fozan Prize can be found at https: https://www.unesco.org/en/prizes/al-fozan.

    Candidates who wish to participate in the competition must be under 40 years of age and register through the link https: https://apply.unescoalfozanprize.org/login  and fill out the application form in English or French.

    The deadline for submitting documents is November 15, 2022.
