According to the relevant presidential decree, the transfer of students from one state higher educational institution to another is allowed only in the following cases:

    1 – when a student applies in connection with the creation of a family for transfer to study at a higher educational institution at the place of permanent residence of the spouse;

    2 – when an employee of state bodies applies for a transfer to study of his spouse (wife) or a minor child in case of a change in place of work on the basis of the recommendation of the head of the relevant ministry (department).

    In other cases, it is not allowed to transfer education from one state university to another (regardless of the territory).

    Last year's procedure for transferring education from abroad and from foreign and non-state universities in Uzbekistan is maintained.
