Akmal Safarov, an associate professor at the Department of Nuclear Physics and Astronomy of the Institute of Engineering Physics at Samarkand State University, completed an internship at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA from February 10 to March 1, 2025, as part of the MISTI project.

    The main goal of this internship was to familiarize with the advanced educational and research laboratories at MIT, discuss joint scientific research and projects, and exchange knowledge and experience with leading experts in the field of physics.

    During his visit, Akmal Safarov became acquainted with courses taught at MIT, such as "Applied Nuclear Physics," "Monte Carlo Methods," and "Experimental Physics," and strengthened his knowledge in these areas.

    Upon successfully completing the internship, Akmal Safarov was awarded a special certificate from MIT.
