A solemn event was held at Samarkand State University in honor of the birthday of the Head of the Interfaculty Department of the Russian Language, Associate Professor Saliha Usmonova.

    At this jubilee event, Samarkand State University professors, the scholar's relatives, family members, and numerous guests participated.

    The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology at Samarkand State University, Professor Jo‘liboy Eltazarov, who highly praised the scholar’s invaluable contributions and scientific achievements in the field of philology.

    Additionally, the guests who attended the event expressed their heartfelt wishes and shared memories related to Saliha Usmonova. Over the years, the scholar has made a significant contribution to the development of the university through her scientific and pedagogical activities.

    During her 46 years of dedicated work, she has published more than 60 scientific articles at both the international and national levels. As the author of one textbook, eight methodological guides, and five teaching manuals, she has made a significant contribution to the development of linguistics. Additionally, she has supervised several master's students in their research.

    Saliha Usmonova is not only a highly skilled educator but also an active, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual who serves as a role model for everyone through her involvement in public affairs. Her selfless efforts are a priceless treasure for our people and future generations.
