By order of the rector of Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov, Yarmukhamedov Akmal Sharapovich was appointed to the post of director of the Institute of Engineering Physics of Samarkand State University.

    Akmal Yarmukhamedov graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in 1988. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

    Prior to this appointment, he served as head of the commercialization of scientific and innovative developments of Samarkand State University.
