Cooperation of Ankara Yildirim Boyazid University with Samarkand State University started in 2020. In the same year, during the first visit of Ankara Yildirim Boyazid University Ibrahim Aydinli to Uzbekistan, cooperation was established with 8 universities of Uzbekistan. Samarkand State University is the main one of them.
