SamDU researcher is among "TOP-100 young leaders of Uzbekistan"...

Roza Shukrullozoda, a doctoral student of the Faculty of Biology of Samarkand State University, was recognized in the list of "TOP-100 leading students of Uzbekistan" organized by Ziya Forum. Young people who are active in science, sports and social life are included in this list, and an almanac containing information about their activities was compiled.
The researcher conducts scientific research on the topic "Biotechnology of micropropagation of some ancestors of cultural tulips, which are distributed in Samarkand region". To date, more than 10 articles have been published in republican and international scientific publications. The scientific director is Professor of Samarkand State University, Doctor of Biological Sciences Khyslat Haydarov.
- In my scientific work, I am studying the biotechnology of in-vitro reproduction of some ancestors of cultural tulips that are widespread in the Samarkand region, - says Roza Shukrullozoda. - 2 types of tulips were selected as research objects. We are currently working on breeding these plant species. My research work is particularly important in the natural environment, where the preservation of the biological diversity of today's plants and its sustainable use, and the development of protected natural areas are considered an important task. It plays an important role in the implementation of tasks aimed at reducing the rate of degradation of natural ecological systems, and developing international relations in the field of restoration of rare and endangered species of animals and plants.
As a result of my more or less achievements in science, last year I won the scholarship of the governor of Samarkand region. Recently, I managed to enter the top 100 as one of the heroes of the almanac project "Top 100 Leader Students of Uzbekistan" compiled by Ziyo Forum. When I found out about this project through grantlar.uz, I wanted to participate. Then I filled in the necessary information and sent the application. After some time, they informed me that I was included in the ranks of 100 top-leader students out of 1500 applicants. Then we took part in a training camp within the framework of the project "TOP-100 leading students of Uzbekistan" organized by the international fund for the development of education and science - Ziya Forum. This almanac is a book that summarizes the activities and achievements of talented and active students in Uzbekistan. Its purpose is to unite the most talented students of the republic, appreciate their work and provide practical support in the implementation of their projects.
