Every nation has its own language, says the dean of the Faculty of Philology, Professor Azamat Pardayev. - The Uzbek language holiday is celebrated on a large scale in our country. Today it has been 33 years since the Uzbek language was adopted as the state language. Preservation of our mother tongue is not only the duty of teachers, but also of every person... As the great enlightener Abdulla Avloni said: "The mirror of every nation's existence in the world is its language and literature. To lose the national language is to lose the soul of the nation." There are more than six thousand languages in the world, of which about one hundred countries have the status of a language. It is a great happiness for us to receive the status of the state language before independence... It is our duty to pass on the fruits of this labor to generations.

During the event, the performances of the members of the "Young Linguist" scientific and creative circle were presented to the participants...
