Professors Ibrahim Erol and Omer Hazman from Turkish Afyon Kogatepa University visited the Faculty of Chemistry of Samarkand State University.

      The main goal of this is to further strengthen cooperation in the field of chemistry, to get acquainted with the scientific laboratories of the SamSU Faculty of Chemistry, and to train students. It is also planned to reach an agreement on the study of scientific works of undergraduates and doctoral students of the Faculty of Chemistry and the development of grant projects.

      - Samarkand State University has established cooperation relations with the Turkish University. Afyon Kojatep with the aim of implementing a number of scientific works and projects in the field of chemistry, - said Associate Professor Noriigit Musulmonov. - Our fellow professors from Turkey are the strongest chemists recognized in the world. The Hirsch index of Ibrahim Erol's polymer chemistry and Ömer Hazman's bioorganic chemistry research papers included in the Scopus database is 23 and 17. At the moment, scientists are conducting research on announced grant projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Innovative Development and TUBILAK (Turkish Support Center research projects)...
