Our main goal is to improve the quality of education...
On December 29, 2022, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the presentation of a new generation of teachers developed for elementary grades at the International Congress Center.
Rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Khalmuradov held a meeting with professors and teachers of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute regarding the tasks set by the head of our country.
- Today, education is the most important basis for the development of the country. The development of education lies primarily with teachers. More precisely, the fate of the country is in your hands, - says the rector of Samarkand State University, Professor Rustam Khalmuradov. - A diploma is not important in education, but the main goal should be quality and potential. We must be impartial and fair in examinations, study and teaching. I repeat, the teacher gives up to 30% of knowledge to the student, and the student learns the remaining 70% in self-study. In fact, the teacher-teacher is responsible for the independent education of the student. Sometimes, in order to cure the sick, it is necessary to harm his soul. You are like a doctor, you give knowledge and education, you open his mind, you illuminate the world of thought. In this regard, rigor and exactingness are necessary. Work with neighbors and parents as needed. Make them responsible too. Send a thank you note to the neighbors and parents of a student who did well, and try to help a student who did not. Because we are all equally responsible for the future of the country. We must start reforming the education system with ourselves. It's time to abandon the teacher-teacher who does not keep up with the times, does not work on himself... Quality education has become the most important and pressing issue of our time. You are teachers of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute. At present, we want to rebuild the country's education system based on the experience of Finland. Let's wait until the Finnish specialists arrive? We need to send our specialists. Let them learn from the experience of kindergarten, school, college and institute. Let them come to Uzbekistan and implement their experience. An example should be the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute. This was the main purpose of establishing the institute. We need to be an example for teachers throughout the country and form an educational culture. In developed countries, teaching in schools with a bachelor's degree is not allowed, it is not allowed. Must have at least a master's degree. At the presentation of new textbooks, the head of state stressed that special attention should be paid to the education of girls and women: Who will teach children? Women, of course. That is why we must educate our daughters and mothers. Then we will educate society. With this in mind, a branch of the Samarkand State University was opened in Urgut. Now most of the branch is made up of girls ...
- The rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Khalmuradov clearly and intelligibly explained the tasks assigned to us in terms of education and pedagogical skills, which are relevant today, - says the senior teacher of the Uzbek language and literature of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences - Ozoda Anorkulova. - As the teacher's reputation increases, naturally, the tasks assigned to him also increase. Now ineffective activity will be put to an end. These thoughts were repeated at today's meeting. In fact, if a person does not have self-sacrifice and a sense of involvement in the processes taking place in society, there will be no result from any work done ...
“The announcement of 2023 as the Year of Attention to People and Quality Education is both an honor and a responsibility for us, teachers,” says Feruza Khamroeva, head of the Department of Natural Sciences at the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute. - The reason is that all attention is focused on education and its quality. We discussed these issues today at a meeting with the rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Khalmuradov. Recommendations are given for the training of quality personnel. After the meeting, I made a number of plans. If all of us educators work together towards a common goal, we will achieve great results...
