The Faculty of Geography and Ecology of Samarkand State University was visited by students led by professors of Moscow State University, members of the Russian Geographical Society Alexander Danshin and Maria Goryachko.

      The main purpose of the visit is to establish scientific cooperation between the parties, to get acquainted with the activities of SamSU researchers.

      Professor of Samarkand State University Subkhon Abbosov gave a lecture to the members of the delegation about the Geographical Society of Uzbekistan and its activities.

      Uzbekistan and the Russian Geographical Society also agreed to organize expeditions and carry out scientific projects in cooperation.
